The S&P 500 closed Wednesday at 4602.45 from 4631.60 on Tuesday. The S&P 500 finally rested after its four day winning streak. Futures hit an early peak, then pulled back, rallied until about 4:00 a.m. EDT before hitting current levels. The overnight high was hit at 8:45 p.m. EDT at 4,614.50.
