Market Crash Indicators Fell -1.07% for the Week

For years we published our Market Crash Indicators Model. It is back. Currently, we are 100% invested in stocks and 0% in cash. The model going forward will be a combination of stocks, bonds or cash. We are 100% invested. The model fell -1.07% since our last update on 2/9 while the S&P 500 fell -1.07% as well. The S&P 500 has risen 24.72% and we have made 13.53% since we restarted the indicator.

Overnight SummaryThe S&P 500 closed yesterday at 4464.50. Overnight a low of  4452 was hit at 11:00 p.m. EST and then it rallied to 4479 at 4:00 a.m. EST before dropping to 4461.25 down by -3.25 points.  Asia was higher overnight at it piggybacked off the strength of the U.S. on Tuesday. Europe is mixed this morning with only Germany higher.

Breaking News: NATO states that Russia is actually building up more troops than drawing down troops. (WSJ)

Tuesday’s Action – 02/15/22 Close:  

Markets sprung back to life while the tension of the Russia-Ukraine Situation cools down a touch.  The Russell 2000 was up 2.76%.  Oil was down 3.15%.  Updated 02/15/22 close.
