Amazon Raises Minimum Wage
by Geoff Garbacz

October 2, 2018

Amazon (AMZN) just announced that they are raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Someone who works an eight hour day makes $120 a day and $600 a week. That would be $31,200 a year. Definitely a liveable wage.

The current minimum wage is $7.25 an hour which is $58 a day. $290 a week. $15,080 a year. Hardly a livable wage.

This will spur the minimum wage debate which will get personal income to rise.
